110 at your height is the ideal weight. You are getting hungry because your body is burning off so much. Pack a light snack so you have something to eat right after practice. A sandwich or some fruit is would work.

if you are exercising more, you are burning more calories, so you can eat more. make sure you are eating the right kind of foods though – stay away from the high fat, high sugar type of foods … eat wholefoods, lots of fresh fruits and vegetables etc and you will be fine. You will definitely not get fat if you eat sensibly and continue to exercise – and right now you are definitely not overweight. Plus you are still growing – height wise etc, so it would be a bad idea to try and cut your calorie intake. Your body keeps growing till you are about 18, so you have a wee way to go yet.

If you’re working out alot…one hour in a half of basketball is ALOT of calories…you can totally eat more, don’t worry about it. You body is telling you hey you are burning more calories then you are actually eating. 5′2 at 110, you really don’t have to worry about it.
Maybe try to eat more carbs…more bread and potatoes, it is a lot more filling!

You can eat more calories as long as you keep up with how much your taking in and how much you are burning. What you eat is as important as how much you eat. Make healthy choice most of the time and some treats on occasion. Good luck.

Yeah that is correct because eating more calories will speed metabolism.
and the exercise will also.

With a balanced diet and plenty of exercise you will build muscle and lose fat. You seem to be doing a lot of exercise so you can check that box… Eat until you are full and really really think after your first meal if you want a second. Don’t gobble down food as soon as you see it. Feel it in your mouth and chew – SLOWLY! Try to talk little at mealtimes – as then you are less conscious of what or how much you are eating. Do not eat in front of the T.V. and really really think about when you want seconds or a snack. With snacking: feel hungry for 10 minutes and then you can have one – sometimes you just snack because you are bored, which leads to weight gain.
Sometimes just drinking water fills the hole if you are hungry more than three times a day. Do yourself a favour and do not eat crisps – PERLEASE! You sound as if you are on the straight road to a great body and a longer life – keep it up! Your diet needs to be sufficient for the needs of your age and activity level, so don’t eat crisps (salt, sugar, fat, preservatives, colours….WHY?!?!) Look babes – carry on your lifestyle and maybe eat more carbs at mealtimes and you will lose weight and gain muscle! Yay! Keep it up – you are really great! I hope your team wins it all! Have fun babes!

Yew You Can, if you know how. Here is an article that can help you understand the why:
The Only Way To lose that extra Stomach Fat and maintain it is by keeping your body in a constant state of “calorie deficit,” namely your body must burn more calories than it consumes.
There are several ways to go about Burning Belly Fat, but since Burn-Fat pills and other medications to suppress appetite, as well as Liposuction, are beyond the scope of these reviews and not something we are willing to advocate, we are left with two options: Diet and Exercises.
Diets:
There are dozens of different diets out there that are designed to create calorie deficit. While the effectiveness of some of these diets are doubted by many, not enough is done to warn the public about the danger that some of them can pause to one’s health. Some ridiculous diets that come to mind are “Chocolate Diet”, “Water Diet”, “Cabbage Soup diet”, and “Crash Diets.”
The problem with diets in general is that most people, after losing some weight will tend to get bored with the limitations that particular diet imposes on them. After all how many Cabbage soups can one ingest without becoming miserable after a few days? And while it is true that initially one loses weight on any of these diets, it is also a well documented fact that all re-gain that weight they lost soon after they stop their diet. Some even end up gaining more. Having said that, it is important to note that there is a huge difference between a “diet” and eating healthy. “Diet,” as we come to know it, implies eating only a limited amount of X food, and only that particular food, while Eating Healthy provides a huge selection of foods that provide nutrients, fuel your organism and put your metabolism on high gear.
“Diets” allows you to create a calorie deficit by controlling your calorie intake, but they also slow your metabolism. To burn Calories you actually need a strong and active metabolism.
Exercises:
Here you create a calorie deficit, not by starving, but by burning more calories while exercising.
There are many ways to exercise and doing some exercises is always better than doing none. However, not all exercises were created equal and knowing the right kind of Exercises to Lose Stomach Fat, will make all the difference in the world.
Put differently:
Increased metabolism = increase in calorie burn
the method that worked best for me is to be found here:

Good Luck!
