Lay off your dairy and egg intake. You can still eat those things if you please but ration them out to maybe twice a week. Also try to stay away from breads. Replace bread with lettuce. There is nothing like a veggie burger on a piece of lettuce! You might also wanna eat more fresh vegetables and if you do decide to cook then make sure you don’t over season them with high sodium things like soy sauce. For exercise you can bike ride. Bike riding for a half an hour everyday does you good, especially if you are trying to lose weight. You can run/jog if you would like but it can become very boring if you know what I mean. Also count your calories for each day. Set a goal amount of calories and change it every so often. And please make a few exceptions. If you go the whole time not eating the foods you like to eat you will most likely relapse. I wish you good luck. And don’t eat meat

Funny, I always assume vegetarians will be thin. But I guess if you veg diet includes twinkies and ringdings, you’ll be chunky like the rest of us : ).
First off, avoid the “whites”, flour, sugar…stay away from refined foods. If you eat a lot of that, just cutting them out will help you lose weight.
I am not sure if you include dairy in your diet or not, but limiting or cutting out dairy will also help. Just be sure to supplement with calcium.
I would recommend you that you access one of the many diet websites, such as calorie-count.com. These websites contain calulators that can help you establish a base line on how many calories you need to take in to get to your target weight. You can look up caloric content of the foods you eat, and you can look up the calorie burn of all your activities.
They also have support groups/forums which help a lot.
Do some kind of cardio – 40 minutes 5-7 times per week.

Eat less, eat sensibly and do more exercise – doesn’t really matter what exercise, any movement burns calories. The high protein ‘diets’ you’re talking about will help you lose weight but they are not very good on the body.
Stop looking for shortcuts, if you REALLY want to lose weight then put some effort in. Sorry if that sounds mean, but seriously.

Personally I don’t know, I’m a vegetarian and I’d really like to know as well!
I suppose it’ll probably be best to cut out on saturated fats and carbohydrates and exercise more; maybe 20 mins per day.
You need protein; you can get them from nuts, seed and beans :]
This probably didn’t helped but I thought I’d try! :] Good luck!

You won’t be able to lose weight any easier becoming a Vegetarian. Vegetarians still have access to Dairy, and Dairy is one of the fattiest substances known to man. Try becoming Vegan, you’ll be exactly like a stick figure!!!!!!!!!

Since you’re pretty much already on a “diet”, I would exercise more often. Cutting back on your food even more might be harmful to your body. Try jogging around your neighborhood every other day, or walk every day. Sit ups and push ups are good, too.

Continue eating vegatables.

Don’t consume as much starches. My grandma (who can barely walk) went on Jenny Craig and went from obese to overweight. Try it!
Btw, when I was a vegetarian for 3 months, I gained 5 pounds.

You should work out and eat lots of protein bars. They will help you loose weight while still keeping yourself full and lively
