Moderation moderation moderation…. Allow one time per day for something sweet, ie chocolate, at a time when you will really crave it and just have one small piece, not a whole bar. Cut out crisps, pastries, butter cheese, and switch to low fat where possible, like diet flora, skimmed milk, ultra light mayonnaise and so on. Always leave 1/4 of what is on your plate and have a light lunch (like soup with one piece of bread/toast). Switch to wholemeal bread, pasta and cereal. Exercise as much as possible and keep it varied, exercise DVD one day and a fast walk the next. Keep focussed on how you will look if you persevere. Don’t make excuses and be disciplined!
